If you’re living with Type 1 diabetes and this landed on your page, I want you to know one thing:

You’re not alone.

If you’re struggling to manage your diabetes, you’re not alone.

If you’re exhausted by the constant decisions, the alarms, the highs, the lows, and the mental load…

You’re not alone.

Type 1 diabetes is a difficult disease to manage. It asks a lot of you every single day. It takes time. It takes effort. And it takes consistency. The truth is, those three things can be incredibly hard to give every day—especially when life keeps happening around you.

With roughly 2 million people living with Type 1 diabetes, you would think it wouldn’t feel so lonely.

But it can.

When I was first diagnosed, I felt incredibly alone. Even though I knew other people had Type 1 diabetes, I didn’t know anyone who truly understood what it felt like to make hundreds of decisions every day just to keep my body functioning.

Some days it felt like I was the only one carrying that weight.

That’s one of the reasons I started sharing my journey.

Not because I’ve figured it all out.

Not because my blood sugars are perfect.

But because I wanted someone scrolling their phone at 2 a.m., frustrated after another high or another low, to realize there’s someone else out there living this life too.

If that’s you today, I hope you know this:

You’re doing better than you think.

You don’t have to be perfect.

You don’t have to have all the answers.

You just have to keep showing up, one blood sugar, one meal, one workout, and one day at a time.

If you’re here, I’m really glad you found this little corner of the internet.

Because no one should have to feel like they’re managing Type 1 diabetes alone.
